Membership in Coachella Valley Angel Network

Individuals who wish to become members of the Coachella Valley Angel Network must satisfy several criteria. Specifically, you must:
- Be certified as an accredited investor under Securities and Exchange Commission Regulation D, Rule 501. This states that an investor is a person who has a net worth in excess of $1 million, either alone or in combination with a spouse, or who has in each of the past two years had an annual income greater than $200,000, or more than $300,000 in combination with their spouse.
- Have made at least one angel-type investment over the past three years, or looking to invest within the next 12-18 months.
Definition of Investment
CV Angel Network defines "investment" as a direct investment in a start-up company of at least $25,000 in cash. (Services do not count.) This equity can be from one's own funds, or from funds professionally managed for other people.
Membership
If you are interested in becoming a member of the Coachella Valley Angel Network, send us a email expressing your interest, background and acknowledgement that you are an accredited investor, and we will get back to you. Send your email to: membership@CVAngelNetwork.com.
Guests
CV Angel Network members are encouraged to bring guests to CVAN events. However, the guests must meet the following criteria:
Meet SEC definition of an accredited investor Invited by and attending with a current CVAN member Not a service provider Ready to invest within 12-18 months
Guests must be registered by the sponsoring member at each CVAN meeting.
